Japan - Day 3

I had a tiring but good day. We flew to Nara and went promptly to he deer park where we had lunch and made friends with the deer (which are sacred here). Then we had a guided tour at the national museum. Nara was Japan's ancient Capitol in the 6th century. We then went to Tohdiaji Temple which houses a very large Buddha statue. We also visited the smaller temples around it. Very beautiful. Then we met our home stay families and I feel like I hit the jackpot. I totally made a new friend Mai and her mom made a delicious dinner. Then she took me to downtown Osaka where I got to see another mini Time Square and we had fun dancing an visiting a shinsaibashi where we made fun pictures together. All in all a pretty amazing first day in Nara, Japan.
